About us
Pies, Puds & Tarts
A family-run business founded by chef Paul Stretton, with over 30 years working in kitchens across London, Germany, and Norfolk.
After years in restaurants, Paul moved into running his own food business - starting with a catering trailer, then a small "pie shed" at home. That led to making pies for a local butcher, then selling at markets and supplying farm shops and delis across North Norfolk.
As demand grew, he moved into a café and production site in Great Walsingham, which he ran for around 12 years before stepping back to focus on markets, shows, and events.
Today, Paul runs Pies, Puds & Tarts with his wife Nisa and daughter Esme, keeping it a hands-on family operation. His pies have received 13 Great British Pie Awards over the years.
At its simplest, it's just good food made and sold by family.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about pre-ordering and collecting at a Norfolk farmers market.
How does pre-order work?
Choose the market you're collecting from, add items from the menu, then get in touch with your selection. We'll confirm availability, payment, and collection details by email or phone.
When do I collect my order?
On the market day you arranged with us. Head to the Pies, Puds & Tarts stall - we'll confirm the details when you place your order.
How far in advance should I order?
Please order at least 48 hours before the market. For a large order or something special, get in touch earlier so there's time to plan the bake.
Can you help with allergen information?
Yes. Ingredients change with the season, so ask before you order if you need allergen details. Use the contact form or ask at the stall on market day.
What if a market is cancelled or the date changes?
Outdoor markets can shift because of weather or organiser changes. Check the events page before you travel, or contact us if you're unsure.
Do you deliver?
No home delivery at the moment. Everything is sold from the stall, collected from a pre-order at a farmers market, or by pickup - please contact for more information.
Can I order for wholesale or catering?
Yes - larger orders and catering enquiries are welcome. Send a message with what you need, which date, and how many people you're feeding.
How do I pay?
We'll confirm payment details when you get in touch about your pre-order. On market day you can also buy from the stall if something is still available.
Ready to order?
Pick your market, choose your bakes, and we'll see you at the stall.
